The Transportation Department – Highway Division has openings for Limited Term Employees – Truck Driver.

This position will run from May 2017 - October 2017 (may vary) working Monday - Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (may vary). This limited term employment opportunity has a starting rate of $15/hr. to $20/hr. based on qualifications.

PURPOSE AND SUMMARY

Duties include truck driving, basic highway maintenance, cleaning up debris and trash along roadways, cutting brush and trees; mowing grass and weeds with hand or power mower; tarring cracks; pick and shovel work in digging; acts as a flag person for construction or repair crew. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must be 21 years of age and possess a valid Commercial Driver’s license, Class A, B, C, D.
