The Planning & Conservation Department has an opening for one (1) Limited-Term Employee.  This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position with a starting salary of $10.00/hr. - $11.00/hr.


Primary duties will include helping with ecological management of a wetland mitigation site as well as County-owned recreation facilities. Activities will include, but are not limited to trimming vegetation both by hand and with utilizing power tools, herbicide treatments, mowing, and other miscellaneous tasks. The ability to work in an outdoor setting on a consistent basis is required. The ability to operate hand tools (i.e. hand trimmers) and small power tools (i.e. power trimmers, saws, mowers, etc.) is required. Basic vegetation identification skills are helpful.

Applicant must be able to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.

Valid Driver’s License Required.
