Dental Access Committee

"The Sheboygan County Dental Access Committee's mission is to contribute to a healthier population within Sheboygan County through community-driven partnerships and collaborations. The Committee promotes oral health through disease prevention and improved access to dental care services."  

A number of concerned agencies have been meeting for ten years now to improve dental health access. These agencies include:

  • Sheboygan County Division of Public Health
  • Women, Infants and Children Nutrition Program (WIC)
  • The Salvation Army Free Clinic
  • Sheboygan County Head Start
  • The Sheboygan Area School District
  • Sheboygan County Division of Social Services
  • St. Nicholas Hospital
  • Lakeshore Technical College & Lakeshore Community Dental Clinic
  • Healthy Teeth Healthy Communities Clinic
  • Local Dentists and Hygienists
  • Local Citizens

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year to help the Dental Access Committee with various programs such as the Candy Give Back Program, Give Kids a Smile Event and local community health fairs.
