Non-Mandatory Appearances

Individuals wishing to enter a "not guilty" plea may do so in writing to the Clerk of Courts office before the court date, fill out a standard "not guilty" plea form in the Clerk of Courts lobby or appear at the scheduled date and time on the citation to enter the plea. A pre-trial conference will be scheduled with the District Attorney's Office at a later date.

Please note that Wisconsin Statutes do not allow the filing of court documents, including "not guilty" pleas by e-mail or e-mail attachment.

Criminal Traffic Mandatory Appearances

If you have been charged with a criminal traffic crime, you and/or your attorney need to appear at the scheduled court date listed on your citation.
