MISSION
The mission of the Family Caregivers Coalition in Sheboygan County is to identify, recognize, support and enhance the role of those affected by care-giving through community outreach, education, peer support and shared resources in order to help family caregivers thrive.
The Coalition consists of family caregivers, and individuals and organization members who share a common goal to support family caregivers. The Coalition promotes appreciation of family caregivers and provides education and outreach through three key programs (Download History):

Caregivers Connect
Meet with other family caregivers in an informal, social environment to learn practical tips on a variety of topics that will assist you to better meet the physical, emotional, financial and spiritual challenges of caregiving. All events are held at the Aging & Disability Resource Center at 650 Forest Avenue, Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085. Call (920) 467-4100 for more information or to register. All events are free.
Carefree Café
The 2016 family caregiver assessment revealed that many caregivers grieve the loss of being able to participate in social activities with their care recipient and their extended families. The Carefree Café initiative is an effort to meet this need. This event is a social event for caregivers, care recipients and friends and family.
Annual Retreat for Family Caregivers
The annual caregiver retreat provides family caregivers the opportunity to participate in an enjoyable activity with other caregivers while supporting self care.
