Process for Submitting a Review Request
To request a review of your child support order, you must complete and return two forms: Request for Review of Child Support Order and Financial Disclosure Form. These forms should be returned to the Sheboygan County Child Support Agency.
The Financial Disclosure form should also be returned with the required proof of income and the other documents necessary for the review.
A review of your child support order will determine whether the order is set at the correct amount. A review will compare the current child support order with Wisconsin's percentage guidelines for child support, which are:
1 child 17% of payer's gross income
2 children 25% of payer's gross income
3 children 29% of payer's gross income
4 children 31% of payer's gross income
5 children 34% of payer's gross income
In special circumstances, there may be adjustments to the above percentages when calculating the amount of a child support order.
If a review indicates a change in the child support order of at least $50 per month, and 15% of the current order, the child support order may be adjusted to a new amount. The adjustment may be an increase or a decrease in the amount of the child support order.
