Grievance/Complaint Process

Sheboygan County Health and Human Services Department provides many services to a large number of consumers through a variety of programs. The Department makes every effort to ensure these services are provided in a manner that is of the highest professional standards and that is respectful of the consumer. The following procedure has been developed in the event a consumer has wishes to formally address a problem, complaint, or dispute regarding any service within Sheboygan County Health & Human Services continuum.

Informal Alternative Suggestions Prior to Formal Complaints

Consumers with concerns regarding services provided by the Health & Human Services Department are encouraged (but not required) to first discuss the problem with the staff person(s) that are involved. Concerns can often be successfully resolved informally.
