A licensed establishment is where a “tattooist” applies a tattoo to another person or a “body piercer” performs body piercing on another person. The establishment is licensed and inspected by Sheboygan County Division of Public Health.  In addition, all tattooists and body piercers must also hold a practitioner’s license which is issued by the Department of Safety and Professional Services (SPS).
