- Rhys Pocan was a 35-year-old Native American woman with 4 daughters. She was last seen walking along National Ave on August 10th, 1989 around midnight in Milwaukee. Rhys was abducted and murdered. Her head and hands were discarded in Vernon Marsh in Waukesha County and her torso was dumped in Nichols Creek in Sheboygan County.
- On 06/22/2020 the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office responded to the Town of Wilson for a femur bone found on the Lake Michigan shoreline. A Forensic Anthropologist determined it to be a left human femur that belonged to a white male between 30 and 50 years of age, and 5'3" to 5'10". Due to the appearance of the bone and possible remnant of ligamentous tissue it is not believed to be archaeological in nature. Hispanic ancestry cannot be ruled out. mtDNA profiles have been developed from the femur and entered into the Combined DNA Index System and do not match any current missing persons reported in the U.S
