The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Wisconsin Emergency Management approved a Hazard Mitigation Plan for Sheboygan County in 2013. This plan includes a Hazard Analysis and information about mitigation projects in Sheboygan County.

The plan needs to be adopted by Sheboygan County, cities, and villages in order for the municipalities to qualify for Hazard Mitigation Grants.
