The Sheboygan County Bicycle Patrol team currently has 12 trained cyclists including Deputies and a Sergeant. All members of the team have completed an intensive 32-hour Police Cyclist Class improving their cycling abilities. The members undergo regular in-service training to maintain their response proficiency As a team we offer educational opportunities in the form of bike rodeos for different clubs and organizations. We occasionally host a Police Cyclist School taught by a local officer who is a certified instructor through the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA).
The team started in 1997 with two cyclists and a Sergeant. Our team has come a long way but our partnership with the community has been, and always will be the forefront of our efforts.
Any questions, or requests to schedule a bike demonstration or rodeo, please contact Sgt. Trevor Bethke at (920) 459-3114 or Trevor.Bethke@Sheboygancounty.com.

- Wear a Helmet: Always wear a properly fitted helmet to protect your head in case of an accident.
- Check Your Equipment: Ensure your bike is in good condition. Check the brakes, tires, and reflectors before each ride.
