Driveway permits are also needed on State highways. The State permit DT1504 is available at the Sheboygan County Highway Office, from the State DOT District at the address to the right, or online at:  http://www.dot.wi.gov/forms/index.htm

A permit to construct, maintain or repair utilities within highway right of way is required. Utility Right of Way Permit Application is available online or or by using the contact information to the right.

This permit must be approved by the Highway Commissioner before commencing any right of way work. Right of Way Policy

A permit is required to place signage on County Trunk Highways relating to ATV/UTV use. Right of Way / ATV Permit .

Please contact the Transportation Department to determine whether a permit is needed to designate portions of county trunk highways as ATV routes.
